Bali has become one of our favorite family vacations in recent years. There’s a perfect mix of beaches and culture, and there’s everything from attending festivals (which are always on), from rice paddies to hiking, to water parks.
The climate is warm throughout the year, despite the rainy season (November to March). The food is very good and cheap. My 10-year-old favorite restaurant in the world is Kuka near Jimbaran Beach.

We always try to offer activities like fish feeding, anti-gravity yoga, rice planting, pottery and local walks through our hotels. We were never ready to investigate.
Although the number of tourists increases every year, Bali never feels touristy. Ubud maintains a very cool and artistic atmosphere. Plus there’s a monkey forest – what kid doesn’t want to be surrounded by monkeys?

We love the Gulf Coast for its white sand, seashells, sunsets and seafood. But what sets it apart is the space – a wide beach and fewer tourists means we have more space to relax.
