Embleton Bay is a long stretch of golden sandy beach that leads to the atmospheric ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, which are often photographed. Popular with families, this stunning beach is also dog-friendly all year round and has plenty of space to stretch your legs. If you fancy a romantic escape to a beautiful seaside village and have more than one dog, the five-star Lost Lobster Cottage in Embleton could be the perfect option. Just 16 minutes’ walk from the beach, this lovely cottage combines character with modern comforts, can sleep four people and welcomes up to four dogs. Sylbarth’s sandy beach is just north of the great Llangranno on the Ceredigion coast, which is loved for its wonderful walks and wildlife. Silbort can be reached from Llangranno at low tide or by stairs. Man’s best friend is free to roam at any time of the year in Sylbart, with Llangrannog beach itself restricted from May to September. Dawlish Warren is known as one of the favorites of the Devon family. A short walk through the woods takes you to this beautiful spot, with 1.5 miles of sand and great views. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year after hen 3; they can only stay on the beach until the 3rd day from October 1st to March 31st. Located close to Dawlish Warren Beach, Cofton Holidays has an 80 hectare family park offering accommodation to suit all budgets, from campsites and caravans to cabins and luxury lodges.
