Dog Friendly Cabin Jasper – If you’re looking for a pet-friendly cabin in Jasper National Park, Tekara Lodge is the perfect choice. Our cabin sits on a ridge overlooking the Athabasca and Miette Rivers, with trails right outside your door and a place to exercise, stretch your legs, and roll. Located within the national park, Tekara Lodge allows you to see wildlife on the property, especially during elk mating season. It is important to properly manage your dog (eg on a leash) to ensure that wildlife has the space it needs. After all, we are all guests in their house.

We are looking for guests who want to enjoy our resort called Tekara Lodge. We ask that guests traveling with their furry family members sign a pet registration agreement at check-in and allow up to two pets per cabin. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the rooms located above the Tekarra Restaurant.

The pet fee is $35 per pet per day, but you will not be charged more than $70 per pet during your stay. We accept all breeds of dogs, including large dogs. All registered pets (usually dogs) will receive a special assistance pack at check-in. We also provide sofa chairs and tableware if required. Sometimes we also see cats that accompany their owners on vacation. Tekala Lodge welcomes all animals.

We are very happy to have you and your pet as our guests. We want their stay to be as comfortable and relaxing as the owners. At Tekara Lodge, we value the safety of all our guests and their pets. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation with pets for any reason.

All registered pets (mostly dogs) will receive a welcome gift to prepare you and your pet for your Jasper National Park adventure.

Lake Annette is a popular swimming spot with several trails surrounding the turquoise lake. If you have a dog that likes to play in the water, there is a small dog area where they can cool off.
