Dog Friendly Vacations Near Nyc – If you’re looking for a dog-friendly weekend getaway near NYC with your pup, think big! A resort with a small house. This dog-friendly resort is located in the rural Catskills of upstate New York, just two hours from Manhattan. We spent two nights and three days relaxing at the resort. I also wanted to give Gatsby a little adventure.
This dog-friendly resort features 11 small cabins on wheels located in the Catskill Forest. Fits 2-7 people depending on which one you choose. Each tiny house has a unique name (ours was called Oki). These homes have kitchens, full bathrooms, laundry facilities, heat/air conditioning, WiFi, TV and Netflix so you can watch many of your favorite shows on your private patio with gas grill and fire pit.

There is also an indoor playground for children. If the puppies get dirty from playing, rinse them with a dog hose.

The resort provides everything you need! It’s like a mini hotel on wheels in the forest! I only brought Gatsby’s raw food, cooking and grilling food.
Bring your pup to explore the resort. You will reach the falls by walking along the Catskill Stream.
There are farm animals, free-range chickens and goats on the property! You may see wildlife in the area, so keep your pup on a leash.
S’mores kits, condiments, snacks, bowls and local crafts for sale. Some of these items can be purchased with cash or Venmo. Cooking spices, DVDs, books and board games are available during your stay.

Within 15-20 minutes of the resort, you can enjoy the charming little towns of Catskill, Hudson, and Saugerty, as well as many hiking trails in the Catskill Mountains.
Walk around the oldest Buddhist temple on the East Coast of the United States! You’ll also find a seven-story jade Buddha, the only one in the United States. This is a great place for puppies to refresh and meditate.

The owner wishes to keep pets away from the furniture.
Large groups looking to spend a weekend (or week) close to Atlantic City’s casinos, beaches, and beaches can bring their dogs to this giant home. Located on a corner lot with views of the surrounding area, pets are welcome. It is quite fair that the owner of the house wants not to leave the pet unattended for a long time and not to cause a nuisance by barking. There’s plenty of fenced-in side yard and balcony space for your dog (and you) to enjoy the ocean air.
Dog-friendly East Hampton Beach is less than a mile from this lovely home. Go hiking or biking with a super host! The private pool is unfenced, salt and chlorine free. The host also offers Jack’s Stir Brew coffee for breakfast. Plus a big, grassy area and a shady deck? Your dog will love it.

Essentially, this space is a great place to unplug and switch off—even the animals agree. A recent reviewer said, “My ‘voice’ beagle was calm, gentle and enjoyed every moment at home.
