It was fine for just a few nights, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. I expected it to be much cleaner as there was a cleaning fee and I didn’t expect to have to do laundry for them. It’s definitely overpriced for how dated everything was.
A perfect mountain vacation. We booked at the last minute and the host was very kind. We arrived late and the door was open with some lights on and a gas fireplace allowing us to relax. The hot tub was absolutely peaceful and the view of the mountains from the front of the house was perfect. It had everything you could want in a mountain cabin and still close enough to Asheville (~20 minutes) to enjoy some of the things in town as well. We had breakfast in West Asheville and. I was able to spend the day in the Pisgah National Forest, just minutes from our Airbnb. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, but for what we paid we expected a property in better condition and better maintained. Everything was old and at the end of its days. We had problems with the toilet after only one use. The terrace area was nice but lacked maintenance and the hot tub was also temperamental. Better instructions for use were needed.
There was no cutlery in the kitchen if you had 6 people (luckily we didn’t) and no free supplies. For the amount we paid for the weekend, I expected more. Overall too expensive for a very tired hotel.
We absolutely loved our weekend getaways there! It was clean and beautiful. The jacuzzi was perfect!! The fireplace made it cozy and romantic. Grilling outside is great! The bed was a little hard, but the top mattress couldn’t fix that, but keep in mind that we sleep on very soft beds at home, so it might be different for us. We loved it and hope to book again.
The cabin is remote from the group of cabins above the road (blocked by vegetation) and easily accessible. We enjoyed the fireplace/fireplace at night and the hot tub during the day. Eric was amazing, quick and friendly in answering any questions we had. We got a package delivered to the cabin and Joe even stopped by to make sure we found it.

This cabin is older than the newer construction listed, but has everything you need. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and our two small dogs enjoyed the yard.
The only downside to the cabin was the floors. When we arrived, we walked around in our socks and picked up a thick layer of dust or gray dog hair. I freaked out a bit, so I cleaned the floor by hand with paper towels and diluted detergent. This problem only affected the reception and the rooms, but I don’t blame the hosts. I think the server was a bit lazy…
This is our second stay at Bearidise and it was just as amazing as the first time! Although it can be cold in the mountains at this time, the fireplace was great to keep us cozy and comfortable. I loved the king size bed, more than enough room for me and my fiance. The hot tub was as great as it’s been lately and the huge back porch was a big selling point for us. The grill worked great for cooking burgers and the kitchen had everything we needed except for a few disposable items we needed, like aluminum foil. Communication with Eric was a breeze, responding to any arrival notices or assistance we needed in a very timely manner. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend in the mountains. We hope to return to this place soon!
The cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It is quiet, welcoming, comfortable and unpretentious. At first glance the hot tub looks like a potential privacy issue, however once you enter and sit up high overlooking the trees, you will have no doubt that privacy will not be an issue. We loved the red leather sofa, recliner, ottoman and chair and spent a lot of our free time looking at the red terry cloths. Eric did an excellent job of providing accommodations that make the trip absolutely memorable.

I loved this place! Tucked away in the woods and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, it’s the perfect balance between city and country. The jacuzzi is a huge plus! And…it’s so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway that we can walk and enjoy the fall colors. Absolutely fantastic experience! Thanks!
The perfect holiday. A very cozy and spacious place located in Pisgah but close enough to the city center to enjoy the breweries. I enjoyed relaxing on the back deck with the pup and the hot tub was a plus.
