But how do you know where to go? We did everything for you! Below are the pet rules and conditions for all 50 state parks. All that’s left is to pack up the car, buckle up your grumpy partner, and hit the road!
Pets up to 6 feet long are allowed in Alabama State Parks. You must provide proof of vaccination. And pets cannot go to the beach or lake. Any dog behaving in a threatening, destructive, menacing or noisy manner must be removed from the premises.
Additionally, pets are welcome at all Alabama State Parks, and the parks below also have dog kennels. Pet rentals are subject to a $30 per dog per night fee. And campers who leave their dogs unattended at any time will be restricted to carriers or crates.
