When traveling in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, a good rule of thumb is to allow pets anywhere that can be driven by a vehicle (trails, campgrounds, picnic areas) while on property. Dogs are not allowed on paved trails in both parks, limiting the number of day hikes and excursions visitors can take while visiting the area.
