Pet Friendly Hotels Near Jackson Hole Wy – Pet-Friendly Jackson Hole From Jackson Hole’s pet-friendly accommodations and hiking trails to places to stay, this area easily accommodates four-legged, furry family members.

Jackson Hole is the most pet-friendly place in the Tetons – you can even take your pup to the post office to be petted by the clerk! Four-legged furry friends are welcome at a surprising number of motels and hotels, from the budget motels at Town Village to the five-star Four Seasons Resort. The valley also has a variety of dog-friendly spots, and some restaurants allow pets to join you (on a leash) on their outdoor patio or deck. In addition, nearby national parks allow pets to visit them with certain restrictions.

Because Jackson Hole is a major tourist and skiing area, the tourism industry wants to make it as easy as possible for visitors to bring their pets to this stunningly beautiful corner of Wyoming. Why should pet owners have fun? Give your pillow a rest too! There are many hotels and guesthouses that accept pets, usually for a small fee.

Pet-friendly Jackson Hole

• Alpenhof Lodge: Two pets weighing up to 50 pounds are charged an additional $30 per pet per night. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

• Inn on the Bay: Up to two pets are welcome; A daily fee of $25 is added to the room rate.

• Snow King Resort: No weight or height restrictions; Maximum of two pets per room. Pets are only allowed in hotel rooms, not apartments.

Pets must not be left alone in your hotel room. If you don’t want to bring them all day, they can enjoy stimulation from other four-legged friends and people who have special dog areas during the day or night. We recommend Spring Creek Animal Hospital and Happy Tail Pet Resort in Dogjax.

Grand Teton National Park offers pet-friendly lodging options such as Jackson Lake Lodges and Cottages, Coulter Bay Village Cabins and Tent Cabins, as well as park-operated campgrounds and RV parks.

When it comes to traveling in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, a good rule of thumb is that pets can go anywhere in the car (roads, campgrounds, picnic areas) as long as they are on a leash. Dogs are not allowed on the park’s unpaved trails, limiting the day trips and excursions visitors take while visiting the area.

Many restaurants/cafes around Jackson have dog-friendly areas during the summer months, including Cafe Genevieve, Cowboy Coffee, Cutie’s Bar & Grill, Silver Dollar Bar & Grill, Bubba’s Bar-B-Q, and Sidewinders Tavern.

If your pet becomes ill or injured during your stay, we recommend taking them to Spring Creek Animal Hospital.

Dogs are expected to be leashed on all trails and are not allowed in city parks. However, there are several dog-friendly areas in the Jackson Hole area that PAWS Mutt-Mitt bag providers can easily identify at the trailhead.

Favorite places to exercise your dog are Emily’s Pond on the Snake River and south of the Westbank River. These places are on both sides of the Snake River – with great views of the Tetons – and can be accessed on HWY 22 on your way to Teton Village and Wilson. Cache Creek is an extensive network of trails near the base of Snow King and is one of the most popular places for locals and visitors to bring their dogs for a walk. You can also go to the Gros Ventre National Forest to take your dog swimming in Slide Lake. See the Jackson Hole pet map.

There are areas in the valley, including the Bridger Teton National Forest, that have established campgrounds and allow your dog free range. However, in order for your dog to be safe and able to access wildlife, it is important that you keep your dog on a leash and under command at all times.
