Dog Park Might Not Be Mission Impawssible
Apart from People’s Park, Lake Jurong Park is a green paradise for you and your furry friends.
One of the newest additions to the list of dog-friendly trails: Lake Jurong Park. Since 2019, when major renovations were launched, the park has been continuously flooded with four-legged and two-legged visitors.
The country’s largest national park (almost 90 hectares, or more than 128 football pitches) will give you plenty of exercise, even if Fido never lets up.
If the furries still have some extra energy to burn, the park has 2,000 square feet of grass fed dogs where they can roam freely. Surrounded by mountains and lots of cute friends, we imagine it will be hard to convince them to leave.

How to get there: Jurong Lake Park’s north and south entrances can be accessed via Yuanqing Road. Enter the Chinese garden path in the former and the Japanese garden path in the latter. The dog park is located near the south parking lot.
It’s impossible to mention the dog tracks and trails without mentioning West Coast Park, one of Singapore’s largest and most popular dog parks.
West Coast Park has cottages and benches, and their pods seek shade as they roam free. Additionally, the dog run also has a dog washing station with dog shampoo, deodorant and a hair dryer! Take it from me, there is no bigger nightmare than bringing a pure white dog of a completely different color (brown) into your home and dealing with what happens next.
The rest of the park is about 5 km along the coast where you can take a leisurely stroll with your kids while enjoying the cool sea breeze.

This offshore island is not only a popular weekend destination for cyclists and fitness enthusiasts, but also a great place to explore beautiful nature on your own.
Although there are no specific dog trails in Coney Island Park, there are several dog trails. But the forest is your master, and the beach is hidden behind the dome. While small Chihuahuas and Maltese may find this route too difficult, larger dogs such as Labradors, German Shepherds and Singapore Special Dogs enjoy the opportunity to explore the rugged “wilderness” using their innate wolf instincts.
Depending on how much ground you need to cover, we recommend bringing your own bike or renting one from Jomando Adventure and Recreation near the west entrance to Coney Island. The railway line from the old Tanjong Pagar station to Kuala Lumpur, the Rail Corridor (also known as the Green Corridor) is a popular human and dog walking route with dry paths and foliage.
This 24km walk runs the length of Singapore, but there are several entry and exit points if that seems too ambitious for you and your van.
Fair warning: this trail is not for the faint of heart. The dirt track alternates between dirt and thick vegetation, providing plenty of entertainment for those dogs who have long been bored of clean HDB roads. Be careful, though, that there are some holes under the plant that will cause Fluffy to fall through.
No matter which section you visit, the abundance of flora and fauna will catch Fluffy’s attention, and you’ll snap a few pictures of him on your smartphone.

A little-known gem in the heart of Bukit Panjang, Zhenhua Nature Park feels like stepping into a jungle from an Enid Bilton story. The park starts at the Seger Trail, which includes a sand play area and an open green space for dogs. From there the path leads directly into the forest.
Arrive early in the morning (before sunrise) and you’ll see the stunning Misty Forest bathed in morning sunlight.
Because it’s so busy here, you won’t see the huge crowds that are typical of other hiking trails. These dogs are an excellent choice for dogs that many people are concerned about. Please note that this tourist attraction in Singapore requires you to walk your dog at all times.
