The 11 Most Dog-friendly Beaches In The U.s.
Burlington, Vermont is one of New England’s most dog-friendly destinations. With incredible outdoor adventures and a laid-back, funky downtown, Burlington is as much a playground for dogs as it is for their companions. You’ll find lots of fun things to do with puppies. Bike the Burlington Greenway along Lake Champlain, then stop for a local brew at one of the city’s many dog-friendly breweries. Burlington breweries including Foam Brews and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery have patios where pups can roam, while places like Switchback Brewing Company allow dogs indoors. The beach itself is simple; Wild, hard and without rest. This is the perfect place for you and your dog to run around and enjoy a secluded day at the beach.
South Boston has its fair share of dog-friendly beaches and Castle Island is no exception. As long as your dog is on a leash, you can roam freely on the different beaches.
Carson Beach, just south of Boston, is a great place to visit for your dog during the off-season (Labor Day to Memorial Day). What better way to show off your dog’s collecting skills than telling the Southern crowd, “My son is mean.” Afterwards, you can treat yourself and your best friend to some roast beef.
