Why Estes Park, Colorado Should Be Your Next Nature-filled Getaway

Rocky Mountain National Park allows dogs in the park. However, pets cannot accompany you on hiking trails or in the backyard. This means that dogs are only allowed in areas accessible by vehicles and must be on a leash of less than six meters and must not be left unattended in any park. Keep this in mind when planning your trip. During the winter months, some roads are closed to traffic, but dog walking is allowed. This can be a fun way to see the park with your dog. During the spring, summer and autumn, these roads are intensive and bringing a pet into the national park is not recommended if you plan to venture outside of the vehicle.
