All four of our dog-friendly cabins provide the feel of a spacious studio with one large queen bed and a pull-out futon in the living area. All rooms can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. These popular lodges fill up quickly, so book early, especially in the summer. Commanche, Winnebago and Zonta cabins feature a large bathtub in the bathroom for added luxury. Our granny kennel is the cheapest dog kennel because it has a standard bath/shower. We only allow our guests with dogs to book these cabins if there are no other cabins available to accommodate your group.

There is an additional $25 plus tax per night per dog added to the reservation. The number of pets must be specified when booking online. Unfortunately, dogs are the only pets we allow in our cabins at Starved Rock. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per cabin and there is a nightly fee per dog.

There are a total of 17 houses on the territory of Kishauwau, and, unfortunately, not all of them are dog friendly. Many people are afraid of dogs or suffer from severe allergies. If we have to spend more time cleaning your home because of your dog, your card will be charged accordingly.

We ask that you agree to the following policy before booking your dog. You can do this by mentioning it in the comments section when you book online or directly with us if you are booking by telephone.

Don’t forget to go to a public park with your dog. They welcome your dog along their mile-long hiking trails while you keep them company. So visit Starved Rock State Park or Matthiessen State Park.
