Unfortunately most houses do not allow pets, but I have searched for many pet friendly rooms from South Queensland to North Queensland.

The southern Queensland wine region of the Granite Belt is a great place for dogs to visit, including the Stanthorpe Centre. City parks on the edge of town offer a variety of accommodation options for pet owners, including affordable pet rooms.

A great pet-friendly place to stay while driving north through Queensland is Mt Larcom Tourist Park. The park is located near the turn off of the Bruce Highway to Gladstone.
