Dog Friendly Cabin Gold Coast – If you want to travel with your dog in Queensland, but don’t have a caravan or tent to camp in, your best option is to stay in pet-friendly accommodation in caravan parks. Unfortunately most houses do not allow pets, but I have searched for many pet friendly rooms from South Queensland to North Queensland.

The southern Queensland wine region of the Granite Belt is a great place for dogs to visit, including the Stanthorpe Centre. City parks on the edge of town offer a variety of accommodation options for pet owners, including affordable pet rooms.

Some standard cabins are pet friendly. Each studio apartment sleeps up to 4 people and has 2 beds and 2 bunk beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are also friendly family apartments, which typically have a queen-size bed in a separate bedroom and a wood heater.
The park is a short walk from the town center and has a swimming pool, games room, covered barbecue area and plenty of space to run around in the woods with young children.
If you’d rather go to the beach on your Queensland holiday with your daughter, check out Kirra Beach Tourist Park, a dog-friendly park on the Gold Coast. Located a short walk from the beach (and a short drive from Palm Beach Dog Beach), dogs are allowed year-round in designated areas and beautiful dog-friendly cabins.
Two of the spacious bedrooms are set up as dog rooms. Each apartment has an enclosed main balcony and a pet-proof fence that surrounds it, so you can relax during your meal or enjoy a barbecue on the balcony. Inside there are two bedrooms with sleeping space for up to four people, a kitchen with a washing machine and a bathroom.

Dogs are welcome in at least 20 pet-friendly cabins at the park. Pet-friendly options include cozy studio cabins, studio cabins, one-bed cabins, two-family cabins, bungalows and two-bedroom apartments that sleep two to six people. Pets are not allowed in hotel rooms or other large buildings. If in doubt, check with the park or website (request footprints).
Up to two calm and well-behaved dogs can enter at no additional cost, and advance registration is required. When you register, let the park know you will be bringing your pet and have it vaccinated.

North Stradbroke Island is one of the dog-friendly islands along the Queensland coast, and pets are allowed on the boats, beaches and island. Another traditional option is camping on the beach. Although accessible only by 4WD, North Stradbroke also has pet-friendly cabins.
Book a stay at Beach Shanties at Amity Point on the northern tip of the island. Five of the eight rooms are pet-friendly and even welcome your adorable pup. The tastefully decorated cottages sleep 2 to 6 people and each has its own kitchen and bedroom.
Accommodation offers waterfront or garden views, and all have access to the waterfront along with amenities such as an outdoor kitchen and braai area.
Big Sand Beach is a three-hour drive north of central Brisbane, but it’s a world away from the city, especially if you’re staying at Poona Palms Holiday Park.

The caravan park has a dog leash park with exercise equipment, and outside the amenity building there is a K9000 dog wash station, which is essential for cleaning up after a sand ride. There is also a boat ramp along with a popular spot for fishing and fishing.
Head north and book a stay at BIG4 Hervey Bay Holiday Park for more pet-friendly accommodation in Queensland. In addition to allowing animals in areas with electricity, they are also allowed in designated pet rooms.

The park is conveniently located in Point Vernon. Most beaches in the Hervey Bay area allow dogs on leashes, but Point Vernon Foreshore is off-leash. There are three separate off-leash areas, including the section between Aplin Road and Pines Park, near the caravan park.

Please let the resort know when you make your reservation that you will be bringing a dog so they can accommodate you in an appropriate room. An additional fee of $50 per session applies.
Dog-friendly Facilities And Accommodation At Big4 Parks
The caravan park is approximately 1 mile from Nielson Park Dog Park, located at the northern end of Fred Coutice Avenue. Dogs are also welcome in the Bargara Foreshore area, accessible from the Esplanade, but watch out for signs saying dogs are not allowed.
A great pet-friendly place to stay while driving north through Queensland is Mt Larcom Tourist Park. The park is located near the turn off of the Bruce Highway to Gladstone.
In addition to allowing pets in all off-grid areas of the resort, pets are also allowed in resort rooms as long as they are declared at the time of booking. A maximum of two pets are allowed per household, including indoors, as long as they are away from the bed. Puppies and kittens under 6 months old must be kept in kennels.
The resort has two convenient locations. One is on the way to see the sunrise and is a must visit with a “big picture” view at sunrise. There is also a second area on the lower level on the other side. Note that neither is fenced. Pooh bags are also provided at each warehouse, and pet towels can be requested from the office.

One of the best caravan parks to stay in the town of Charters Towers is Dalrymple Tourist Van Park, located 2km north of the town centre. Backing onto a golf course, the resort is practically a secluded area and offers pet-friendly rooms.
The caravan park has cheap rooms by the pool and with garden views. Each can accommodate up to 4-6 guests and has a double or queen-size bed, 1-2 bunk beds, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Contact the resort in advance to request a pet-friendly cabin. The additional fee is $10 per pet per night.
