Winds and temperatures in the low 70s on Friday afternoon were not ideal conditions for a beach day, at least for people. That didn’t stop about 30 people and dozens of dogs from enjoying the officially dog-friendly beach views.
“It’s like a great dog park, but it’s attached to a beach,” said Leon Rickards of West Deptford, Gloucester County. “It’s a good place to visit. We love it and the dogs,” she said.
Rickards was joined by his wife Judy, daughter Brielle and friends Kenny Chang and Nancy Perts and their dogs Nuggets, a corgi, Riley, a beagle mix and Snihers, a Shih Tzu.
