Pet Friendly Trip Victory Liner – Looking for a pet-friendly bus from Manila to Baguio? Check out Victory Liner as they recently opened their doors to pets. I’ve been to Baguio many times, but the charm and cool weather are the reasons I keep coming back, so this time I decided to bring my dog Ollie. According to Victory Liner’s official website, Victory Liner welcomes the transportation of dogs and cats as long as they meet the guidelines set forth in LTFRB Memorandum Circular 2020-003 or the “Additional Guidelines for Allowing Pets in Public Utility Vehicles.” Requirements for taking a pet on the pet-friendly Victory Liner bus. The pet fee is equal to the full amount someone pays. The pet has its own seat. The pet must be in the carrier or cage 100% of the time during the trip. Only for the normal type of bus with air conditioning is your pet’s vaccination record up to date, especially against rabies. Only small and medium sized dogs and cats are allowed. How to reserve pet seats on Victory Liner There are two ways: online through the Victory Liner website and in person at the box office. Naturally, we opted for the online route to avoid traffic jams and save time, although there is a small fee involved. You must complete an invoice form per human passenger and per pet. Although it is a bit strange that pets are asked for their last name and email address because the booking confirmation is sent per person or per pet. Since I made the reservation for myself, my sister and my dog, I have received 3 separate reservation confirmation emails. This is one of the rarest cases where I completely forget my good manners! We’re sure Victory Liner won’t tell you this, but if this happens to other bus companies, please be aware of RA8485: THE ANIMAL WELFARE ACT. It says: “No cruel confinement or restraint will be applied to these animals while in transit.
