The Katy Trail Ice House is located along the trail where you can stop and enjoy a cold margarita and dinner in their large outdoor dining room. This is my favorite dog restaurant in all of Dallas!

Each tour can be easily followed through their amazing app! They give you fun facts and turn the tour into an interactive game! This could be a great date night or a matchup against the teams!

Even if you don’t fancy hiking in Dallas, Cedar Hill Nature Preserve is a great escape. Located less than 20 minutes from downtown, you’ll find 600 acres and over 9 miles of trails. It’s a great spot for butterfly watching, bird watching or a picnic after your hike. This is a non-profit organization and runs on donations!

They also rent kayaks (solo and tandem) and canoes, or you can bring your own to launch at Panther Island!
