Brighton is one of the most dog-friendly cities in the UK. There are many walks, beaches, pavilion gardens and parks around the city (such as the nearby South Downs), but there are dog-friendly businesses in Brighton, including several pubs and cafes.

Whitby is such a small town, situated on the coast just a few miles from the edge of the North York Country National Park, so you can choose from country walks or runs along the sand and sea.
The Egton Estate is set in the desert, set on 6,000 acres of gently rolling land. With acres of moorland and miles of river running through the gardens, it’s a great place to bring (well-behaved) dogs to play with the owner’s own rescue dogs (and sample a selection of organic treats).
Your four-legged friend can follow you fishing or shooting, part of the Coast to Coast Path goes through Egerton. For dinner, use the BBQ facilities or walk to the Horseshoe Hotel, the estate’s own pub.
